The “Golden Era” of bluegrass may be a long time gone — but not to the members of Long Time Gone. This band brings back to life the classic bluegrass hits of the 1950s, hearkening back to an era when Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and The Stanley Brothers ruled the country airwaves. Ben Manning (guitar) and Katryn Conlin (string bass) anchor the band’s rhythm section while three of the region’s leading instrumentalists, Barry St. Mane (banjo), Leo Rosenstein (mandolin) and Mike Hildebrandt (fiddle), trade dazzling breaks. Plus special guest Mark Kreitzer (dobro, guitar, fiddle, bass) sits in with the band and contributes some of his great original songs to the mix!
Since meeting in 1971 and discovering that they liked to play the same old time music, Pop Wagner and Bob Bovee have produced some of the most spirited traditional music around. Separately and together, they've developed and deepened their old time craft during 40 years of their accomplished musical careers.
Wisconsin's acoustic roots duo, The DitchLilies, have been in musical cahoots since 1998. Kari Larson and Lisa Schultz are stringed multi-instrumentalists/vocalists with a soft spot and keen enthusiasm for early swing, European roots, juke joint and old-time country music. Together they dust off rare and forgotten tunes or re-work the familiar tried and true melodies with the aim of carrying them forward to share with audiences of today.

Patsy is a highly skilled guitarist , songwriter and composer across multiple genres, working with African percussion, Celtic/Irish traditions as well as working in the jazz and blues genres. The CT chapter of the American Folk Alliance awarded him Best Songwriter 2003 for his song "Sacco and Vanzetti (Rise and Unite"). He has written songs, music and libretto for various theater productions. His solo albums, ranging from contemporary singer/songwriter to the Celtic/World influences of "Irish Guitar" have been enthusiastically welcomed by critics and audiences alike.
